  • Conversely, slightly shorter-than-stock shocks may change the rake angle and slow steering response.
  • Before purchasing or installing shocks with a different length than stock, verify that wheel travel can vary without causing clearance issues (for example, swingarm/axle contact with the exhaust, chain/belt guard contact, or contact with the tire).
  • Recommended for heavy-duty use on motorcycles operated at, or near, their maximum load more than 50% of the time.
