  • Installing shock absorbers slightly longer than stock can change the rake angle and provide sharper, more responsive steering.
  • Conversely, shock absorbers slightly shorter than stock can alter the rake angle and result in softer, less responsive steering.
  • Before purchasing or installing shocks of a different length than stock, verify that the modified wheel travel does not create clearance issues: for example, swingarm/pivot contact with the exhaust, chain guard or belt cover contact with the tire, or any other mechanical interference.
  • Recommended for heavy-duty use: ideal for motorcycles operated at or near their maximum load more than 50% of the time, where durability and consistent performance are essential.
