  • Multiple finishes available: fully chrome or black covers, and chrome or black springs and end caps.

  • All shocks are measured eyelet to eyelet.
  • On XL models 1986–2015, installation may require modification or shimming of the chain/belt case to ensure adequate clearance.
  • A shock slightly longer than stock may change the rake angle and give slightly quicker steering.
  • A shock slightly shorter than stock may also change the rake angle and slightly slow steering.
  • Reinforced (heavy-duty) versions are recommended for motorcycles used at or near the manufacturer's maximum load more than 50% of the time.
  • Before purchasing or installing shocks of a different length than OEM, verify that wheel travel can be changed without risk of interference (swingarm/axle with the exhaust, or chain/belt guard with the tire).
