Specifically engineered for off‑road competition, the S‑M7 helmet prioritizes an optimal balance between maximum ventilation and lasting comfort, while remaining lightweight thanks to an ultra‑aerodynamic composite shell that provides enhanced impact protection.
Equipped with an A‑Head adjustment system and a visor release mechanism; the lower edge of the shell incorporates PLASMA technology to efficiently dissipate energy in the event of contact with the clavicle area.

Studied aerodynamic profile: smooth, clean shell with no external channels or protruding elements likely to create stress points on impact or compromise the helmet’s structural integrity.
Shell shape focused on controlled deformation: the curvature reduces friction on impact, facilitates glancing, and ensures optimized energy transfer to protect the rider’s head, neck and spine.
Ultra‑ventilation: 20 independent air inlet/outlet openings (excluding the eye port), including 13 intakes and 7 outlets, for optimal airflow during intensive use.
Customizable fit thanks to replaceable Alpinestars cheek pads, available in multiple thicknesses and interchangeable across all shell sizes.
Communication system compatible: dedicated cutout on the left side of the EPS to accommodate an intercom, with speaker pockets provided on both sides.

Top foam: crown foam elastically connected to the neck foam to improve management of oblique impacts.
Top Pad: removable top pad adjustable in height via the A‑Head system to adapt retention and ergonomics.
Cheek pads: 3D design incorporating the Emergency Release System (ERS) and a channel designed to accommodate a hydration tube.
Cheek pads are interchangeable across all sizes, allowing fit to be adjusted to personal preference.
Chin strap: 25 mm nylon webbing, stainless steel double‑D rings, and removable covers to facilitate washing and maintenance.
Integrated hydration channels on both sides to ease installation of an onboard drinking system.
Protection
Visor release system designed with a release mechanism specifically engineered to avoid the weak points of traditional anchoring systems.
The visor is designed to automatically detach from the shell once impact energy exceeds 15 joules, ensuring optimal protection regardless of the direction of the blow.
Internal PLASMA: Alpinestars’ PLASMA technology is strategically integrated into the S‑M7’s lateral foams to efficiently absorb impacts in a critical area, helping significantly reduce the risk of injury.
